Satellite meeting on Developmental Biology and Genetics, co-organized by LS2 and the Foundation Louis Jeantet 

Welcome to the satellite meeting entitled "The Future of Developmental Biology and Genetics", taking place on the 11 October 2016 at the Louis-Jeantet Foundation in Geneva. The meeting is addressed at all Master and PhD students with an interest in Developmental Biology and Genetics, and is restricted to 30 participants. 

Keynote speakers of the symposium are:

Joanna Wysocka (Stanford University) and

Claude Desplan (New York University)

Both are stellar scientists in their respective fields. Participants are requested to submit their abstracts until 12 September and may be selected to present their work in short presentations (max. 10 min). Please note that abstract submission is mandatory, and the selection will be done at the beginning of September.

This is a unique opportunity to speak face-to-face with top scientists from the field, to get feedback and advise for your work and to interact with students from all over Switzerland working in your field. Don't miss the chance to register for this exciting workshop.

Accomodation and catering will be FREE for all Master and PhD students from a Swiss research institution! Please register before 3 September 2016 through this website. 

Students who are enrolled in Graduate Schools will be accredited points by attending both the Satellite Workshop and the Louis-Jeantet Symposium (12 October 2016).

This workshop is limited to 30 participants.

Priority will be given to Master and PhD students, however we will open the course to Postdocs and others interested in this workshop if not full. 

Abstract submission and registration deadline 12 September 2016

Please note that credit points can be gained by attending both workshop and symposium, and that there is a no-show fee of 50 CHF if you registered but do not show up.
