Louis-Jeantet Symposium 2019

Welcome to the satellite meeting "RNA in the balance: between translation and decay", taking place on 16 October 2019 at the Louis-Jeantet Foundation in Geneva!

This meeting follows the Louis-Jeantet Symposium held on 15 October 2019 at CMU (Centre Médical Universitaire) Geneva. The meeting is addressed to all Master, PhD students, and Postdocs working in Ribosome structural biology and/or RNA metabolism, and is restricted to 30 participants that also attend the preceding Louis-Jeantet Symposium 2019.

Keynote speakers of the Satellite Meeting: 
Elena Conti, Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry (GE)
Venki Ramakrishnan (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2009), MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (UK)

Participants are requested to submit their abstracts until 10 September and may be selected to present their work in short presentations. Please note that abstract submission is mandatory, and the selection will be done late September. This is a unique opportunity to speak face-to-face with top scientists from the field, to get feedback and advice for your work, and to interact with students from all over Switzerland working in your field.

Accommodation* and catering will be FREE for all participants from a Swiss research institution!
