On behalf of the Life Science Switzerland (LS2) organization, the Swiss Chemical Society & the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, we are pleased to announce that the Patenting in Life Sciences & Chemistry (a hands-on workshop for researchers in life sciences & chemistry) will take place in Gerzensee on 11-12 October 2021.
This program is specially built for PhDs students and Postdocs.
This year’s edition of the course is organized in collaboration with the following doctoral schools and partners:
- Graduate School for Cellular and Biomedical Sciences, University of Bern. 4 places
- Life Science Zurich Graduate School, Zürich. 9 places
- Interuniversity Doctoral Program in Organismal Biology, University of Neuchâtel. 4 places
- NCCR Bio-Inspired Material, University of Fribourg. 1 place
- CUSO with 4 Biology PhD programs: Program in Molecular Plant Sciences (MPS), Program in Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Connectomics (StarOmics), Program in Ecology and Evolution and Program in Microbial Sciences. 13 places
- NCCR Transcure, University of Bern. 6 places
- NCCR Kidney, University of Zurich. 3 places
- NCCR RNA & Disease. University of Bern. 4 places
For certain number of students from these graduate schools and partners the registration is free of charge.
Of course, we also highly welcome interested PhD students from non-participating graduate schools/partners and Postdocs to register as well for the course!
