Welcome to the Swiss Physiology Meeting at the University of Fribourg! 

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Swiss Physiology Meeting 2016 at the University of Fribourg on 6 September 2016.

Plenary speaker of the meeting will be Prof. Lluis Fajas Coll (Metabolism and Cancer Laboratory, Department of Physiology, University of Lausanne). He will be giving a talk entitled "Cycling through metabolism".

We are looking forward to a great meeting with fruitful scientific discussions!

Young Investigator Award (sponsored by the Oetliker Foundation) for best talks & poster! 

The highlight of the meeting will be the awarding of the Young Investigator Award by the Oetliker Foundation for PhD students in Physiology - Three awards are will be given for the best talks and one for the best poster, combined with a travel grant to attend a conference abroad.

All submitted abstracts will be considered for the award, the deadline for abstract submission is 15 August 2016.

All BSc and MSc students who would like to attend the meeting will get their entire travel costs reimbursed, so please keep your receipts and send them to us after the meeting (along with a copy of your student's ID).

The Swiss Physiology Meeting will take place on 6 September 2016 from 9:00 to 17:00.

Registration for LS2 members is free.

Non-members have to pay a registration fee of 50 CHF. If you would like to become an LS2 member, please follow this link
