COVID Certificate required
Following the new regulations of the University of Bern the COVID certificate will be required to attend the meeting, read below to get all information.
Regulation:
- Masks must still be worn inside of the building.
- The certificate will be checked upon arrival of participants on the registration desk.
- Please bring your certificate, in the app or printed with the QR code together with your identification document.
- Please, keep the distance and clean your hands.

Certificates issued by EU and EFTA states are recognized in Switzerland. All info here.
- What is a COVID certificate?
The COVID certificate is a way of documenting that you have been vaccinated for COVID-19, have had the disease, or have a negative test result.
- How do I obtain a COVID certificate?
This depends on whether you are vaccinated, recovery from the disease, or have a negative test result. Read all information here.
- How long is the COVID certificate valid?
- For people who have been vaccinated: 365 days from when the last vaccine dose was administered
- For people who have recovered from COVID: The certificate is valid from the 11th day after the positive test result and lasts for 180 days from the date of the test result.
- For people who have tested negative:
- PCR test: 72 hours from when the sample was taken
- Rapid antigen test: 48 hours from when the sample was taken
Of course, if you have symptoms, even if you have the certificate, please stay at home, you can always follow the lectures online. Our priority is always your health and the health of the community.
