From Research to a Successful Startup - The sitem-insel Innovation Ecosystem
Have you ever wondered how a scientific idea becomes a successful start-up?
Join the LS2 Company Visit to sitem-insel and sitem StartUp Club on October 14 and discover how researchers can transform innovative ideas into biomedical ventures. During this visit, participants will explore the sitem-insel innovation ecosystem, learn about the MAS in Translational Medicine and Biomedical Entrepreneurship (MAS TMBE), meet the Sitem StartUp Club (SSC), and hear first-hand from a start-up founder who successfully completed the entire journey from research idea, through entrepreneurial training, to founding a company.
This visit is particularly tailored for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists who are interested in entrepreneurship, translational research, or founding their own start-up. Whether you already have an innovative idea or are simply curious about how scientific discoveries are translated into real-world solutions, this is a unique opportunity to gain practical insights into business-building, innovation support, and the entrepreneurial landscape in Switzerland.
Participation is free of charge, but places are limited to 20 LS2 members only, so early registration is recommended.
