Knowledge @ Noon is designed to bring the life sciences community together during the lunch hour to exchange ideas, explore new research directions, and be inspired by experts from across academia, industry, and beyond. Each session will offer fresh perspectives on scientific advances, career development, and innovation at the intersection of disciplines.

Next episode will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 on Zoom and will explore career paths that challenge traditional ideas of what it means to work in academia. We will hear how David Penton Ribas built and sustained a technology platform that grew into a research group, and discover how “third space” roles bring together academic and professional work behind the scenes of education, research and innovation in a talk by Fanny Georgi.
