Physiology Meeting 2020

organized by the LS2 section Physiology
ONLINE, Monday 31 August 2020 – Tuesday 1 September 2020

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT MEETING!!!

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions that we all faced, the Swiss Physiology Meeting 2020 took place ONLINE, 31 August and 1 September 2020.

With a great effort of the whole board of the LS2 Physiology Section, we built a two half-days program where also the presentations of the Young Investigator Award (sponsored by the Stiftung für Physiology) finalists and flash talks instead of posters were included.

We had two great plenary speakers, Prof. Wanda Kulilski (UNIBE) and Prof. Michael Scharl (UZH), giving to the program a translational meaning, where both academic and clinical research were represented.

We also had time to enjoy sponsor talks from BioTek and OLS-omni, giving nice tips and advices to improve our “lab life”.

Also, a big thank to our sponsors for their support, without all of you this meeting would not have been possible: BioTek, Bucher, OLS-omni, SCNAT and TransCure.

The meeting was a great success with more than 70 participants online. We thank you all for your flexibility and active participation. All of us could enjoy an interesting discussion despite the circumstances.

Accreditation for continuous education in the field of animal experimentation

This meeting has been accredited with 0.5 days for continuous education in the field of animal experimentation by the Veterinary Offices.

The participants have to use the online-System animex-ch

For further questions or details please ask your animal welfare officer, PI (who has access to the platform) or your collegues who are already using the system. Usually, each research group who is performing animal experiments has a minimum of one person who is responible for this administrative process.

Thank you to participants and sponsors
