• Best Postdoc talk: Tatjana Kleele (EPF Lausanne)
• 2nd best PhD student talk: Olga Rusiecka (University of Geneva)
• 2nd best Postdoc talk: Anna Keppner (University of Fribourg)
• Best PhD student flash talk / poster presentation: Yustina Maria Puspitasari (University of Zurich)
• Best Postdoc flast talk / poster presentation: Ji Huang (University of Fribourg)

A big highlight of the meeting was the awarding of the Young Investigator Award sponsored by the "Stiftung für Physiologie" (former Oetliker Foundation) for young researchers in Physiology.

6 Awards were given, 3 for PhD students and 3 for junior Postdocs (< 5yrs after PhD or MD defense):

• The best talk: 1000 CHF
• The 2nd best talk 500 CHF
• The best poster with flash presentation: 500 CHF
