Welcome to the Swiss Physiology Meeting 2026!

Please attend the meeting organized by LS² Physiology Section in Fribourg! This section meeting provides a fascinating 1-day program with two keynote speakers, presentations and flash talks given by our young colleagues and poster session!

This year we will be joined by Andreas Draguhn (University of Heidelberg, DE), working on neuro- and pathophysiology and Susanna Zierler (Johannes Kepler University Linz, AT), working in pharmacology. 

Another highlight of the meeting will be the Young Investigator Award contest. As always, we encourage Early Career Researchers (ECRs, PhD students and early postdocs) to join the contest, present their ongoing work and win prizes!

The submission deadline for YIA: May 31, 2026

Poster abstract submission deadline outside of YIA: June 30, 2026

General registration deadline: August 16, 2026

Organizers: Thomas Lutz (UZH), Zhihong Yang and David Hoogewijs (both from University of Fribourg), together with support from LS² Section Physiology.

 

We will request* the accreditation of this meeting for continuous education in the field of animal experimentation by the Veterinary Offices. Usually we are able to get accreditation for 0.5 days.
