Proteomics Webinars Series

A Proteomics Tour of Switzerland
Online, Thursday 10 February 2022

It is our great pleasure to introduce a Proteomics Webinars Series for “A Tour of Switzerland”. Organized by the LS2 Proteomics Section, these virtual sessions will bring you to different cities in Switzerland to discover what Proteomics is all about there.

Fribourg Webinar - February 10th - 16:00 / 16:50

Fribourg Proteomics Webinar, February 10th, 16:00 / 16:50

A proteomic view on cellular signal transduction
The groups at the University of Fribourg employ proteomics to study the regulation of protein homeostasis and cellular signal transduction. In the current webinar hosted by the Dengjel lab we will highlight new phosphoproteomic approaches to study kinase substrates in vitro and in vivo. In the second talk, we will discuss pros and cons of affinity purification and proximity labeling approaches to study kinase interactomes. Presentations (20 mins each), followed by a combined Q&A at the end.

- Zehan Hu, Department of Biology, University of Fribourg
Unbiased characterization of kinase substrates
- Devanarayanan Siva Sankar, Department of Biology, University of Fribourg
Protein-protein interactions underlying kinase function

Host: Jörn Dengjel
